Oats cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 cups
  • flour 1 cup
  • shredded 1 cup
  • 1 cup
  • 1 tablespoon
  • butter 6 ounces
  • bicarbonate of soda 1 teaspoon
  1. Melt together the sugar, syrup and butter.
  2. Mix in the bicarbonate of soda.
  3. Mix together the dry ingredients.
  4. Mix the wet and dry together.
  5. Pack firmly into a flat cookie tray or pan.
  6. Bake in a slow oven for 20 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven and cool for a few minutes
  8. Cut into bars
  9. Leave to cool completely before removing from the pan and store in a cool, dry place.
